In August summer is in full swing. It's time to enjoy the garden and spend lazy days outside. Vegetable gardens yield an abundant harvest, the result of hard work in the preceding months.
Invite friends and family to a feast in the garden and fill the table with homemade dishes, using all things seasonal, from the vegetable garden if you can. 

There is a simple pasta with burrata, grilled tomatoes and basil, a salad of green beans with roasted peppers, homemade focaccia with red onion, rosemary, honey and sea salt and a salad of potato, chicken and broad beans. Make a homemade pizza bianca with tomatoes and a grilled courgette salad with basil and a salad grilled aubergines, tomatoes and chickpeas. For dessert, there is an upside-down apricot and almond cake.
